There are home buyers who will not come cross to a property that does not have a home garden. Based on this fact, having a home garden is an added advantage. For example, you will have total control of the type of foods that you eat on a daily basis.

Watering

It is paramount to ensure that the garden always has enough moisture to support growth of the plants. One of the nice ways of doing this is by watering it more often. However, you should be cautious not to apply too much water as that could have a negative impact on growth of crops that do not do well in waterlogged soils.

Fertilizers

To be sure that the soil has enough nutrients to support the growth of your spinach and kales, you will need to carry out some tests. Once you do that, you also need to add organic or synthetic fertilizers in the garden to increase the minerals and nutrients content.

Finally, you need to weed the plantation more often to get rid of unwanted plants. This is based on the fact that they result in competition for nutrients with the beneficial kales.

If you decide to move to a new house, hire a reputable moving company to help you pack and transplant your plants to the new garden.
